This company drives me nuts! I have automatic renewal, and I'm protected, yet I receive constant reminders that I have no protection, and have to buy!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Purchased my initial subscription w the purchase of a new laptop back in 2018. Continued to renew subscription as it was already installed and seemed to work okay. Last year I noticed that the software was considerably bogging down my laptop. (Asus laptop, 32gb ddr4 ram, NVIDIA gtx970m, 1tb ssdhd). Then I proceeded to get a virus which caused startup and run time issues. Webroot was able to identify it 50% of the time when a scan was run, yet never able to remove. Windows defender (factory Installed free software) was able to correct issue once I enabled that to take priority over webroot….. looks and smells like an antivirus software, but performs very poorly.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Scans run very fast. No pop up offers when trying to do other things. All the way back to Windows 7 is supported however, only certain browsers. For myself this was difficult.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Very good and reliable protection

The overall experience is top.
Reliable protection for a good price if you get a new serial. Renewal is pretty expensive compared to buying a new serial.
