What would life be without it.

I really don't know, but not willing to find out. I have never had an infection. Either it's working like a Cleaning Machine or I don't go to any sites that have infections and the internet has turned into a very safe place. I also have not got any notices that it's working or not working. I know its running. My scans are clean, so it seems to be stoping or blocking anything harmful and working as it should. That is why I keep renewing, year after year. I looked at the test sites before and trying to figure all the test out, makes you dizzy and read many reviews. All I can say is Webroot doesn't make me have to respond to false positives all the time. Yes, it has asked me if I want to go to a site it doesn't trust, but I believed it was ok and I lived.

Decent anti virus/spyware tools.

The product is very good. I've used it for several years. What I hate is the warnings when your sub is almost up. So you buy a new sub and immediately loose what time you have on the old sub instead of getting time added. The new sub also starts the day you purchase(online) and if you change your key days later you also loose subscription time. I guess its another way to increase their profits??

Lightweight protection that hits in the heavyweight class

One of the best (if not THE best) internet securities out there, VERY light on your PC, you pretty much forget it's even there, which is great...no pop IPS unless it finds a threat, no slowdowns on your PC...easy to use not that you need to do anything....just....great

Great Product, Poor Renewal Process

First of all I want everyone to know that I have been using Webroot for several years now and have not experienced any issues with viruses since installing. The program works well and does a good job of keeping me safe. The only issue I have with Webroot is when it comes to renewal. Once your subscription expires, they bump the price up to renew. As some one that believes heavily in Owner Loyalty, I would like to see a price break for people willing to stay loyal to your product. Raising the price for the same service make people question your loyalty to them. The best way around this issue is to let your subscription end and then install a new version again.
