Good sound quality, issue with connection

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The shape of these earphones is slightly different from the JBL TourPro 3, which may have impacted the effectiveness of the active noise cancelling feature. The earpiece is also a bit smaller than prior designs, which is beneficial for medium-sized ears, making them more comfortable to wear for extended periods compared to the TourPro 3. The overall sound quality is good, with a clear separation in the mid-range frequencies without significant bass booming at lower frequencies.
There are issues with firmware v3.8.0 that every 3 days or so one of the earbud will drop its connection to the phone, it never recovers until we put the bud back to case.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good earbuds for the price.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used these a few times now and they are nice. Sound quality as expected. They are a little chunky for my liking and do not fit my ear very well. Must be me though. I had my wife try them and she thought they fit just fine. Having had several pairs of JBL earbuds I will say there are better models and there are worse. These are your average earbuds.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

hits most of the features i'm looking for

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First, I appreciate the minimal packaging. The outside box is busy with text and icons.
Both buds came in 80% charged which I really appreciated. Quick start instructions were just enough to get started - though I had to look twice on how to pair a second device.
One thing I noticed right off the bat is that the charging base can lay flat on its back but can also balance (and spin) upright. It's a pleasure to hold in the hand with smooth corners all around. Glad it's using standard USB-C port.
After connecting to my iphone I proceeded to the app and noticed the person-ifi feature. Wish I knew it would take a whole five minutes to test my hearing range (frequency and amplitude). I proceeded to put on a podcast and finish washing the dishes. The noise cancelling function worked fine and controls were easy to access. The fit is much better than another pair of non-JBL buds I was wearing earlier in the day.
Then I put on put on some Youtube (Rick Beato - Producer reacts to crazy instagram musicians) while playing with the equalizer in the JBL app. Very nice.
I also have a pair of JBL live buds 3 and found I don't really use the LCD screen all that much so I haven't missed too much from the lack of it in this unit. All the features and more can be had from the JBL app.
Taking the pair to some workouts , I couldn't get a good secure fit when doing some HIIT. The left unit had a good fit but might right one needed re-adjusting - I probably need to replace it with the larger earbud tip.
Trying to switch between two devices isn't as seemless…I would hit play on my iphone and it would resume my PC's video. To be fair I've seen this on numerous non-JBL devices as well so it could be Bluetooth protocol.
There was one evening that the charging unit let out a long beep - is it its way to say it needs charging? If so it's quite ungentle.
At the time of this writing I've misplaced my set. While there is a Find-my-buds feature, my buds looks to have disconnected from the phone when placed in the charging case - which makes sense. I wish it could be more Tile-like and show a last known location and time-stamp.
Overall I'm very pleased with the sound quality and noise cancelation. Charging case isn't overly huge so easy to slip in ones pocket.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Too heavy - falls out or hurts ears

Bought these headphones in a pinch at an airport and quickly regretted my inability to return them. The sound quality is good but the physical earbuds are so big and heavy they don’t stay in my ears. I tried every earbud size in the package and was constantly frustrated. I couldn’t even give them away to friends or family because they also found them too heavy. Additionally the tap touch is nice until you’re someone with long hair that accidentally pauses the song or changes the listening quality every time you tuck your hair behind your ear - a little too touchy.

We’re here to help you with your JBL Tune Buds 2. To achieve the best seal and secure fit, you must create a tight seal within your ear canal. To do this, angle the ear tip slightly downward to make it easier to insert into your ear canal, gently twist the earbud to fit it securely into the shape of your ear, and continue twisting the earbud into your ear canal. With regards to the touch control, you can use the JBL Headphone App to disable this option. For further assistance, you may reach out to our customer support.

Terrible Design

These are the worst designed ear buds I’ve ever purchased. They constantly fall out of my ears no matter what I do. Whoever designed and approved the weight distribution for these earbuds needs to have their engineering skills evaluated.

Disappointing, Even at 50% Off

I bought these a few weeks ago during their 50% clearance sale. They're just okay. I've had Bluetooth connection issues with the right earbud, and they don't stay in my ears securely—they tend to loosen up. I also can't access Siri while using them. The sound quality is great; it's just a shame the rest of the experience isn't as good.
