Best combination of bass and noise canceling

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The best wireless earbuds I've had. I haven't really used earbuds much in my past, but after trying these, I'm in love. These fit my somewhat smaller ears perfectly, and include 3 sizes to fit. When i opened these for the first time, they instantly connected to my Galaxy S25 with Android's new device pairing abilities. Any time I use these, they're super quick to connect. They charge super quick and maintain their battery pretty well. I thought the app that goes along with these earbuds wouldn't do much, however it has so many features to change bass, noise canceling, button features, and even install updates. I detail cars at home and sometimes outside of home, and these things are amazing to bring with me and use in a noisy environment, such as when using an air compressor for cleaning, the noise canceling works well. All while having super deep bass and high quality audio. If you do any type of outdoor work or work in a louder environment, these earbuds are amazing.

Amazingly light and powerful ear buds.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm surprised at how much features JBL was able to fit into these buds. It is so light, that I forget I'm wearing them sometimes. The noise cancellation is great as usual. What is also impressive is the ambient-aware more, which intelligently boost nearby ambient noise that you may need to be aware of. In urban areas, this is good for car horns that may be warning of danger, while keeping the loud crowd noise out. It also passes through notifications from stove and Alexa. As usual, the sound quality is top notch. I did not encounter any compromise. Battery is life is great and the charging capacity of the case has been a solid feature for getting out of the door quickly with reliable play time.

Very Useful Daily Earbuds

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great sound quality and useful for everyday earbud usage like at work, which makes use of the ambient aware feature pretty well to know what’s going on around me. Very cool tie in to the JBL app and is useful for adjusting the balance of bass in the headphones as I like lots of rap/r&b. Design is convenient and low key, but earbuds can fall out of your ears at the gym or doing moderate physical activity. Don’t love how sensitive the touch controls on the side can be, as they can skip/pause a song without intending to. Overall these headphones have great value for price point, and have great battery life to last all day long, would recommend!

JBL Tune Buds 2

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After several attempts to use these earbuds, changing the tips to attempt to make them fit, I have found they are not made to fit my ears. The sound quality is good, but I was not able to get a good seal with the included tips so ambient noise was intrusive. These would be better if there was a wider selection of sizes for the tips.

Thanks for your feedback. To achieve a secure fit, angle the ear tip slightly downward to make it easier to insert into your ear, then gently twist the earbud to fit it securely into the shape of your ear. Alternatively, you can try other ear tips from a third-party retailer that is compatible with our JBL Tune Buds 2 and will fit your ear. If you need further assistance, please contact us.

Professional modern look and design with JBL sound

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited to try the JBL Tune Buds 2 earbuds because I work from home and frequently join virtual meetings and calls, and my previous earbuds were problematic when using with my meeting app software. Fortunately I got my hands on these JBL Tune Buds 2's, so I could evaluate if they could replace my standard laptop earbuds and have good enough audio quality to use for work calls.
The JBL Tune Buds 2's definitely delivered, and has a more classic bluetooth headsets look and feel to it.
My personal experience with them was intuitive out of the box — I paired them with my laptop in seconds without even having to open the instruction manual. I expected good audio quality with good bass and decent noise cancellation, and as expected, JBL did not fall short. The sound was clean, clear and crisp - with a deep, discernable bass that was not overbearing. It engulfed me in an immersive audio experience, to the point where I had to take them off to check that others couldn't hear it (they couldn't). I did a few test calls and meetings, and the feedback was positive - my audio came in loud and clear to no one had any problems hearing me. I had noise cancellation support, ambient mode support and mute controls all accessible by touching the earbuds. I'll continue to use these for work as it's convenient and does what I need.
One standout feature is the sleek black design and charging case. The design feels sturdy and well-made, and I appreciated the flashing lights used to convey the different states. For me, these earbuds have a professional look to them, making them feel suitable for the workplace.
My honest verdict? I'd say between these or the JBL Tune Flex 2's you can't go wrong with either - with the Flex 2's giving slightly more portability for workouts given its smaller bud size and shape.

Good sound quality, issue with connection

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The shape of these earphones is slightly different from the JBL TourPro 3, which may have impacted the effectiveness of the active noise cancelling feature. The earpiece is also a bit smaller than prior designs, which is beneficial for medium-sized ears, making them more comfortable to wear for extended periods compared to the TourPro 3. The overall sound quality is good, with a clear separation in the mid-range frequencies without significant bass booming at lower frequencies. There are issues with firmware v3.8.0 that every 3 days or so one of the earbud will drop its connection to the phone, it never recovers until we put the bud back to case.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used these a few times now and they are nice. Sound quality as expected. They are a little chunky for my liking and do not fit my ear very well. Must be me though. I had my wife try them and she thought they fit just fine. Having had several pairs of JBL earbuds I will say there are better models and there are worse. These are your average earbuds.

hits most of the features i'm looking for

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First, I appreciate the minimal packaging. The outside box is busy with text and icons. Both buds came in 80% charged which I really appreciated. Quick start instructions were just enough to get started - though I had to look twice on how to pair a second device.
One thing I noticed right off the bat is that the charging base can lay flat on its back but can also balance (and spin) upright. It's a pleasure to hold in the hand with smooth corners all around. Glad it's using standard USB-C port. After connecting to my iphone I proceeded to the app and noticed the person-ifi feature. Wish I knew it would take a whole five minutes to test my hearing range (frequency and amplitude). I proceeded to put on a podcast and finish washing the dishes. The noise cancelling function worked fine and controls were easy to access. The fit is much better than another pair of non-JBL buds I was wearing earlier in the day.
Then I put on put on some Youtube (Rick Beato - Producer reacts to crazy instagram musicians) while playing with the equalizer in the JBL app. Very nice.
I also have a pair of JBL live buds 3 and found I don't really use the LCD screen all that much so I haven't missed too much from the lack of it in this unit. All the features and more can be had from the JBL app.
Taking the pair to some workouts , I couldn't get a good secure fit when doing some HIIT. The left unit had a good fit but might right one needed re-adjusting - I probably need to replace it with the larger earbud tip.
Trying to switch between two devices isn't as seemless…I would hit play on my iphone and it would resume my PC's video. To be fair I've seen this on numerous non-JBL devices as well so it could be Bluetooth protocol.
There was one evening that the charging unit let out a long beep - is it its way to say it needs charging? If so it's quite ungentle.
At the time of this writing I've misplaced my set. While there is a Find-my-buds feature, my buds looks to have disconnected from the phone when placed in the charging case - which makes sense. I wish it could be more Tile-like and show a last known location and time-stamp.
Overall I'm very pleased with the sound quality and noise cancelation. Charging case isn't overly huge so easy to slip in ones pocket.
