I love the ease, power, and portability of this Dyson Handheld! I don't have a boat, but I have vehicles and it works great on hard-to-maneuver spaces like stairs and upholstery too!

While this vacuum has good pickup power if you put it on Max, the battery life is laughably short, making it utterly useless for meaningful vacuuming out a car, because it dies within 10 minutes at that power setting. Seeing how it's a fixed battery, this vac is basically a total waste of money for its intended purpose.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Nice to be able to have on hand to do a spot cleaning. Such as crumbs around the toaster or dust and cobwebs on bookcases and such. Great for cleaning up dried cat hairball barfs on carpets.
Down side, nearly every time I pick it up, I accidentally turn it on. A better trigger guard would be nice.

I have been using this vacuum for about a month. I use it on my stairs and around a kitty litter box. It has very good suction and the battery lasts about 30 minutes for each charge. There is a "max" option and that really works good. I like this vacuum. Better than the other brands, which I did purchase before this one.

Compact-sized machine that packs a lot of muscle!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A little/compact GIANT of a machine packed with a lot of muscle in a lightweight design. Ergonomically designed, with an amazingly strong suction and the right types of accessories that comes with the base package. After a 5-6 weeks of use for 2 cars, I am continually amazed by how long the battery lasts after 10 cleaning sessions of two cars! The filtration is amazing, which I have come to expect from a Dyson. I can’t wait to get the added accessories that are currently sold out! Thank you!
