Great car/boat vacuum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had gotten the car/boat vacuum. I absolutely love it. it can do so much more such as furniture, beds, baseboards. windowsill. Easy to empty and charge. It picks up dog hair and dog food with ease.

Compact with a punch! A new lightweight favorite

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our family has been using Dyson's for years, but wanted a new lightweight handheld vacuum to quickly clean couches/car carpets. This vac has been more than up to the task. We've literally used it daily on our couch and ottoman to remove dog hair. The motorhead works extremely well and is very easily to clean. Battery life has been fantastic too. Overall, extremely happy!

Phenomenal Car+Boat Vacuum is great outdoors & In!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This new vacuum may be called Car+Boat but it does so much more! It's lightweight but misleadingly powerful. Cleaning the car with this vacuum was a snap. The crevice and brush tools help to get dust and dirt out of tight spots while the motorized hair screw tool was perfect for the floor mats, rugs and seats. With two settings (normal and Max), you can adjust the power to suit your needs. Indoors it's great for stairs, floorboards and lampshades. I highly recommend this vacuum. Dyson hit it out of the park with the Car+Boat v8!

Amazing Suction

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a long time Dyson user, over 20 years, and the V8 is one of my favorites.
The suction is unparalelled. I swear this vacuum sucks dirt out of space and time. I use this one mainly for my car and it easily handles the grime from my kid and two dogs, one of them is a Great Pyraneese sooooo lots of hair. The battery is sufficient though not as long lasting as the v10 which I use for my home but that is a very small issue for me as it charges very quickly. Lastly, a major plus is that all the attatchments for my v10 are compatable!

It is definitely what one would expect from a Dyson, quality in design and powerful performance, quality materials, convenient and portable, and a perfect size. The Car+Boat handheld vacuum is an excellent addition to my cleaning repertoire to ensure healthy maintenance of my home and vehicles. Its size and tools are perfectly designed for cleaning close quarters; the canister size holds just enough space, and so easy to clean and sanitize! I have respiratory issues and the Dyson filter on this product is as good as all the other Dyson prods I own; being able to clean them is a plus, and does not disappoint! Awesome product!

We already have a Ball Animal and V8 vacuum for the house but as we have two dogs we decided to get the Cat+Boat to keep at the other end of the house for convenience and ease of access when there is some hair to suck up.
As with most Dyson products the build quality is good and the suction is first class. It also comes with some useful attachments for a handheld device.
The one criticism I have is that the device itself is a little more bulky than it needs to be as a portable vacuum. I think the body is actually exactly the same size as the V8 which makes it pretty bulky for a small handheld. Given that I would empty it far more regularly than a cordless cleaner I would have preferred it to be a little smaller width wise so that it is easier to store.
