Bought this to supplement our whole house wired system, just to cover an additional angle. Works great, love the ease to setup and the clarity of the pictures. Thanks!
This system has worked perfectly since I installed it two months ago. It was easy to install and set up. Since I'm a skeptical engineer, I bought a single camera system to see how well it worked and if it functioned as advertised. It does. I plan to buy more cameras and possibly another system.
Lots of problems trying to reformat, took several days for normal use to return, very finicky. Extremely hard to read the labels on all the control buttons. Now after 18 months when I moved the base unit and turned it on again it is displaying "out of range". Tried several things to correct with no success. More made in China junk.
Just received my wireless camera. The instructions were very simple and the set up was just as easy. No problem programing in the extra cameras. Looking forward to many years of service
I bought four of these cameras. Three work well, but the one that is farthest from the monitor (about 69 feet) is out of range. The advertised indoor range is at least 150 feet, with a recommendation that it works best within 100 feet. The support website suggests a firmware upgrade to correct an out-of-range problem, but I installed this at a relative's house and won't have a chance to try the firmware solution for several weeks. The installation is in an old wood frame house, and there's no metal or masonry obstacle to the signal. Also, be aware that there's a very noticeable time lag in the audio when using the intercom, and you can't talk and listen at the same time.
