GREAT CAMERA

I had been using a baby monitor in my barnyard so i would know when predators were killing my birds. I wanted to be able to see as well as hear so i started looking at security cameras. Picked this one because it had a screen that was on all the time so i did not have to connect to my phone or computer. It has worked GREAT. Picture is clear, sound is clear and the night vision is more than i could have imagined. I could not have asked for a better camera and it has exceeded my expectations. My chickens and ducks are much safer with the Phoenix alerting me to unwanted predators . As i was typing this i saw a possum trying to climb into one of my pheasant pens. I woke my husband and problem alleviated!
I would recommend this to a friend!

So simple to use. My dog died so I needed something to replace her barking when someone drove into my yard out in the country, the alert system works great.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good quality product

This review may be premature, as I haven’t tried all the features yet (haven’t fully read the recording card) but I’m so pleased with my purchase that I’m compelled to share with prospective buyers what I’ve learned.
(First of all, Walmart shipped the product 4 days ahead of schedule).
1: It was well packed and all parts were included (sans the manual which was not supposed to be included – it is available online).
2: The construction of the cameras stands out right away, no flimsy plastic here. They are sturdily made of aluminum.
3: Set up was virtually plug-n-play, as the cameras come already paired.
4: The monitor is also plug and play. The views are sharp and the colors are bright. I was impressed with the night vision, as well.
The speaker brings indoors the beautiful sound of my outdoors wind chimes without losing sound quality. The mike also works fine. I’m glad I don't have to be replacing batteries, as the monitor also goes plugged in. It has a “sleep” mode and it continues to monitor action while in this option.
My only objection is that the markings on the monitor are faint white. Also, the monitor should come with a rechargeable back-up battery to keep the clock running when unplugged (like to change its location).
The Micro-SD card comes inserted into the adapter and I believe is already formatted (when I tried to format it, it didn’t do anything) and it records faithfully.
Buy this item with confidence. It is well worth the investment.

Great Product!

In an era of plug n play this was the easiest system to install and operate.Literally all you have to do is attach the hardware (two cameras) in the desired positions, plug in the device and it works. I did however, download the 38 page PDF instructions to fully understand how to set up the timers and playback options, which I strongly suggest. All of which was very simple to follow and understand.
The picture quality is great and you can choose either split screen (2 or 4 cameras) or isolate one camera as desired. With the motion sensor activated it records with sight and sound and offers the ability to communicate through each of the cameras. So, for example, if someone comes to the door you can see and communicate without opening the door...Fantastic!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Quality sound and picture!

Camara picked up the reflection in my window which triggered sound and they said “She stays in the house alone”
They were walking on the sidewalk in front of my house! I bought the Defender Phoenix because there have been break-ins in the neighborhood.
Best purchase I ever made! Wish it came with directions but I was able to do it myself.

Great system

Just installed systems and have already captured movement in our drive. It was extremely to install and setup. Only minor problem has been my fingers have a hard time with the small joy stick

Purchased the PhoenixM22c last week and much to my chagrin congtents did not include User's Manual. Found numerous inconsistencies in downloafded PDSF that macde it very difficukt to set up. No direct communications with management or tech support; just chat. No way to register product or get notification of Firmware updates.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
