Easy physical installation.

Fairly easy to start operating, even for elderly folk like us who know nothing about such devices. Range of detection could be a little better,as our cameras are quite high above ground level. The one in the back yard had no trouble talking to the control from about 60 feet.I think we feel much more comfortable knowing they are there.

Easy setup and installation!

Our new PHOENIXM2 was delivered yesterday and the setup was easy breezy! We live in the country and have one camera pointed at the front of our house and one garage, the other camera is pointed at the back of the house and another garage. It's nice the moniter can handle up to 4 cameras because we will purchase another camera to point down the driveway to get a good head-on view. Very pleased with our purchase due to ease of operation, price, and peace of mind.

Excellent video monitor clarity, easy to install. Good price as it was purchased on sale. The included SD card was a nice feature.

It Works!

Bottom Line – It Works! The hardest part of the installation is deciding where to put the cameras. You attach the cameras. You plug the cameras into an AC outlet. You plug the monitor into an AC outlet. You turn the monitor on. You are finished. Admidiatly, the Defender monitor is RGB and not HD, but the MPEG-4 files on the SD card can be read by just about any PC and stored on the PC’s hard drive for permanent storage or viewed on the PC’s HD monitor. There are other security systems available, but you would be hard pressed to find another system that is better built, easier to use, and at a more reasonable cost. Again, Bottom Line – It Works!

found this on amazon, after looking at some cheap ones, didnt see any neg comments on it. Also had some gift card to use up, so I took chance and was VERY HAPPY at 2 minute set up and very clear picture. Delighted that it picked up motion sensor through glass window.( so no drilling threw walls) put on window sill and plugged in. ALL DONE. seems very solid. Will add another camera for outside, so everything covered. Thanks Defender for quality product!
