Great Features

This began because I couldn't see the center portion of my drive way when people arrived. Now, I can not only see the driveway, I can see both front entrances to the house. Since the unit is wireless there were no cables to run between the camera and the console and installation took only minutes. As a bonus I can talk to anyone at my front door while sitting in my office. Since I have a second camera I'll install it on the rear of the house and have those entrances covered as well.

Unsatisfactory

The picture is like trying to look through a glass of dirty water and the picture is delayed by at least 1.5 seconds with the camera only 10 feet from the monitor in a wide open room, and the intercom takes significantly longer. The range and connectivity are spotty at best. Unless you have direct light on the lens, it will stay in black and white the whole time. Which makes it completely useless considering you have to blind the camera to engage the regular color picture. Can't set motion detection individually as they claim you can. Would make a good toy for a 12-13 year old with too much time on their hands. It's been 7 months since my purchase, i've pretty much rendered it useless. I'd see a potential criminal in my bedroom face-to-face before anything registered on the monitor.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Out Of Range

Bought the camera in the last two months and have had nothing but problems. I can literally place the camera antennae and receiver antennae inches from each other, still continuously "out of range" and have to unplug the camera. Wish I had read the reviews before I purchased it. You are warned, bad product. I notice as you proceed it asks if its about an extended warranty. The reviews here clearly show replacements are as likely to be out of range as the one you had. I also paid 30.00 US MORE than price listed here.

I got the the wireless system a month ago and it is amazing! Right out of the box it was a breeze to set up and get the cameras up and running. The picture quality is brilliant. I love it and I feel secure knowing things are being monitored I volunteered to participate in the testing of this product and wanted to share my honest review

GREAT CAMERA

I had been using a baby monitor in my barnyard so i would know when predators were killing my birds. I wanted to be able to see as well as hear so i started looking at security cameras. Picked this one because it had a screen that was on all the time so i did not have to connect to my phone or computer. It has worked GREAT. Picture is clear, sound is clear and the night vision is more than i could have imagined. I could not have asked for a better camera and it has exceeded my expectations. My chickens and ducks are much safer with the Phoenix alerting me to unwanted predators . As i was typing this i saw a possum trying to climb into one of my pheasant pens. I woke my husband and problem alleviated!

So simple to use. My dog died so I needed something to replace her barking when someone drove into my yard out in the country, the alert system works great.
