[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We just purchased a model FMOS1746BS microwave to replace a 7 year old model FGMV176NTF that died and the repair estimate was more than it was worth. I bought the new Frigidaire because it would fit the existing space and line up with the mounting brackets and holes. It is a good basic microwave but I am extremely disappointed in how the newer model seems to have been “cheapened down”. Some examples:
The lighting both inside and under the microwave was LED in the older unit is now incandescent and extremely dim, worthless
The clock on the front panel cannot be set to stay on all the time. I know, small point but we got used to looking at that space for the time
Could it really have saved you that much money to not carry over these minor features in an 7 year newer model? I hope that the mechanical parts have not been subject to cost-cutting and the new microwave lasts at least as long as the previous model

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like my new microwave. It is not loud while running like most microwaves. The only dilemma I have is it doesn't display the time when not in use. Tried following the direction for time on with no success. Otherwise it is a good choice.

Over the range microwave

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love everything about it except that the clock doesn't stay visible. A button has to be pushed to see it, what good is that from across the room. It does pop on every once in a while by itself, don't understand that.
