Needs power saver override

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Would be a 5 except there isn't an override for the power saver and the clock goes dark after 3 minutes. I rely on the clock while in the kitchen and don't want to continually have to refresh the clock. The specifications should include that feature so people make an informed choice on this purchase

I love my Frigidaire microwave

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted a basic over the stove microwave to replace my 30 year old GE Profile which died 2 years ago. and this is perfect. This Frigidaire model is a perfect fit. It is easy to operate and cooks beautifully. My favorite thing is the Potato setting. No guessing and the potato is perfectly cooked by pushing one button.

Underwhelming

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We recently purchased this unit to replace one that died after 18 years. We like the look of it but haven't been impressed with a few things. The first thing is the performance. The old unit was 1150 watts and this one is 1000 watts. I didn't think there would be that much of a difference in long it takes to heat things but I was very wrong. It seems to take 50% longer to heat most things vs the old one. Still trying to learn what the right time is for the things we cook most often.
The second thing is the lighting. The light in the oven and underneath are both very dim. And there is only 1 setting for the bottom light.
The last problem is the clock display. It doesn't stay on! And then it randomly comes when it's not being used. I couldn't find any documentation on the settings to keep it on or if there is some sort of energy saver that needs to be turned off.
We would have returned this unit, but the appliance store we bought it from has a 50% restocking fee. So we are stuck with this for now.

Great price and easy to use

good to the point microwave.. easy to operate functions and gets the job done. Only one minor complaint is that it is a little noisy when first starting but then quiets down after a few seconds. Buttons are bright and easy to read and navigate.

Quiet and powerful microwave

Yes, I had a Frigidaire Pro series but this time decided to go with an affordable one, but same brand knowing it would last. I think the new one is better and didn’t cost an arm and a leg. Build quality is good. Mounting it was like any other microwave, even got a template to know where to drill. But how it works and how quiet it is, it is grrreat! Thank you Frigidaire for making long lasting quality products.

Just Trying to See the Time

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The clock does not say on all the time. There is an “energy savings feature” that after 5 minutes the clock turns off. You have to hit the clock button or open the door to see what time it is.

Outstanding microwave for basic family needs
