Karu 2 Pro gen 2 is a home run

The oven arrived quickly without damage. Assembly was very easy. The dual fuel is great. When I have time to tend the fire, pre heat or between pies, wood is a great option. Otherwise the gas burner is great for set and forget convenience. A wide temperature range enables you to cook different types of pizza and/ or foods. The oven door is large and provides a great view during use. My only suggestion to improve is, provide a more secure closure/latching mechanism. The door does remain closed as intended, but requires very little effort to open. Overall, great product and performance, thanks Ooni.

Tasty pizza

My neighbor had gotten an Ooni, and was really loving it. I did some reviewing and comparisons and decided to get an Ooni for myself. I got the Kari Pro 2 bundle. Just used it for the first time last night. Made 4, 12 in personal pizzas. It was a good learning experience as 2 came out perfect and the other 2 gave me some minor issues that I will learn from. All were really tasty, even the 2 I had some issues with. Tried the propane first just to make it easy and see how it works. I have a big bag of lump charcoal and the Ooni wood for the next time. I would definitely recommend getting an Ooni to anyone thinking of buying an outdoor pizza oven.

Good but issues with heat

We tried the oven 4 times so far and the hottest temperature was 330 degrees. Obviously we always preheat for 20-25 minutes. We still get a good pizza out of it but we need another 100 degrees. Do you think is there an issue with the oven?

I purchase the Ooni as a birthday present for my husband since we love pizza nights and it has quickly become one of our favourite family activities! There are so many ways to cook with it, it's so easy to use and to clean. We love the multiple options for gas vs wood as well. Definitely happy with my purchase and highly recommend! There is a learning curve with making the pizza dough but it's all part of the fun!

Worth it.

I love the Ooni Karu 2 Pro. I haven’t used the gas adapter yet, but I use a combination of charcoal and wood. We have only used it once, but cooked several small pizzas when we did. They cooked very well and in a matter of minutes. The crust was crispy and airy as it should have been. Super excited about my purchase and look forward to many years of using it. My wife isn’t a huge pizza fan, but she loves pizza from the Ooni

It takes a lot of trial and error. We are still working on perfecting our pizza. The dough is key. The heat you need to play with so that the pizza is not burnt on top and crisp on the bottom. But it is fun figuring it all out. Would recommend for sure.
