This set is awesome! It’s extremely fun and detailed and simply looks impressive when you’re done. It took me a little less than seven hours to get done. There were one or two pieces missing or swapped with a similar piece in the bag, but honestly, it didn’t affect the build at all.

Excellent contribution to a curated display

This is the largest piece now in my collection, and the final piece I've built in 2025; the Tyrannosaurus completes what I consider a curated piece of art in a [lighted] display focused on my interests in science and technology [I'm a retired dentist/pathologist, so this piece easily caught my attention and, with the other largest piece in my collection (the DUNE ornithopter, also shown in the photos) it's my favorite build.
For any LEGO builders with an interest in science technology, and engineering, I would highly recommend the Tyrannosaurus as a focus piece, along with the LEGO planet earth and moon in orbit, LEGO evolution of STEM and LEGO insect collection (also shown in the photos)

This has to be one of my favorite builds yet! I finished it in 6 hours, 29 minutes, and 37 seconds, so it was a good time building! There are a bunch of Easter eggs that you should pay attention to while building, very cleverly done, especially the frog! I would seriously be interested in other complete scale models to go alongside this one in my office.

The biggest problem with the TRex build is stability. The model tends to fall apart. Not great. Probably my last Lego build.

If your set seems like it's not very sturdy, the best thing to do is double-check your build. Sometimes there may be a piece just a little off from where it should be. Not sure how you could miss out on including the gastralia on this build! It would have been a simple addition. Now I’m trying to figure out how to create gastralia to attach as under belly support. Disappointing.

I had to send out for a missing piece, just a few bags into the build this is ridiculous! Lego should be better than this…now I have to wait 8-12 days wow they should expedite this…what I’m not a YouTuber…I dont have extra pieces laying around, now I have put off the build, how would you feel and this is no the first time either, shame!
