I had 2 Cuisinart Coffee Makers before. The first lasted 6 years. The second 2. It was because of this I went with a competitor. Basic coffee makers should last a while. I read that I wasn't the only one feeling this way at that time / model.
Fast forward to now, & me not being satisfied with the coffee quality of my Oxo. I saw the 4n1 for a reasonable price & thought I would jump back in PLUS add the Nespresso feature (never been a Keurig style person as the coffee never seemed "coffee").
In the time I have had the unit I have used it daily. The coffee maker is as I remember - makes good coffee. The single use feature is very convenient. I have used the single-serve & the quality depends on the coffee selected. The espresso side is very nice. I have used the milk foamer & it is much easier than others I have used. Can quickly/easily make a latte. The water tank makes a difference - nice capacity.
Clean-up is very easy.
The issues: pouring water in the coffee maker is a hassle. The only way I don't make a mess is pouring from the left, without the lid. This means you can't put the coffee maker close to a wall. The "dashboard" is not intuitive. You definitely have to read the instructions before turning on. OK - that's the only 2 so far.
IF the heating unit doesn't break down after 2 years again you have me back for good.

What a treat! Coffee pot, single coffee, espresso. A bit of a learning curve, pushing all the right buttons in the right order, but so worth it! Just FYI it is easy to find the Nespresso Original pods, but be aware that you put them into the pod holder from the bottom, so upsidedown. I thought I had the wrong thing, had to watch YouTube.

The only reason this isn’t 5 stars is because if the position of the steam. There is almost zero chance using a regular mug or coffee cup for a latte. I solved the issue by purchasing a coffee pod holder to stand it on. Also takes fairly long to make the milk hot. I end up finishing in microwave. I love everything else about it.

I spent a lot of time researching for the perfect combo espresso and drip maker. This is the first time I’ve had anything other than a drip maker, I wanted drip and espresso capability with steamer and grinder. Could not find anything with ALL those things, but this was closest to what I was looking for. I bought a burr grinder which has been perfect and super easy to use. Paired with the cuisinart burr grinder, the drip coffee makes a great pot, but the downside is the placement of the water reservoir for the drip function. It’s awkward to pour into the reservoir positioned in the back with the lid right there and hard to get all the water in from the pot. I also have really liked the pod and nespresso functions. I’ve never had either before, they work great, I’ve enjoyed them more than I thought I would. The steamer wand is difficult to use however, again, placement is awkward, it rotates sideways, but hard to get a mug underneath it without spilling it. There is also a very long delay for the steamer or water to actually start. Overall, I would still purchase this again, but look forward to improved versions in the future when I’m ready to upgrade.

We have only had it a month now, so still adjusting to it. The only complaint is with the pods. A lot of condensation and sometimes only water comes through. We are poking holes in the bottom of the pods before we brew and that helps. Nepresso pods work great.

A step down from previous Cuisinart appliance sadly. Wanted to be able to have more options for morning coffee, but have very limited counter space. Went with 4 in 1 model. Brewer function good; K-cup function leaves more water in K-cup than previous Cuisinart of four years; Nesspresso function also leaves water and lever gets stuck more often than not so making two espressos can't happen :-(

Although it was a gift, I researched coffee machines for quite a while, and requested this one. It simply does all the things, from quick hot water for my tea, to making a pot of Sumatra decaf that I can quickly add a pod of espresso to for an afternoon pick-me-up. I seldom use the Keurig-like feature, yet appreciate having it for guests who will not consider anything except full caffeine. My kitchen is small, and this has a reasonable footprint. I keep it on a sliding base, and this helps with water filling. Set up was not intuitive, yet also not horrible. Between the (inadequate) manual and YouTube I figured everything out in one day of trying all the features. I also have a Cuisinart burr grinder…I am fairly certain I make the best coffee of anyone I know. Really, I think it needs a name because it has become part of the household. I’m hoping we have a long, satisfying relationship….

I've really enjoyed this coffee maker. Having two reservoirs is awesome. The expresso res in the back lasts a long time. The steam function works well, I just wish it was either mounted higher or had a slightly shorter stem as I have to tip my steam pitcher and it sometimes slops. It is quite convenient having k-pods as well as Nespresso pods. The controls were a little confusing and the instructions didn't help, but after about a week, I had it figured. Well worth the money.
