The marketing is misleading. It says it makes espresso, when in fact it’s just using a different pod. It makes good brewed and pod coffee, but not an espresso maker.

The coffee pot and espresso portion of this machine work perfectly!
The K-Cup portion overflows or doesn't pour right every single time. I have to open it and close the chamber 2-3 times, rotating the K-cup each time, making sure it's properly punctured every single time. If I do not take these extra 2-3 steps, I get a cup of hot semi tinted water, and ruin the K-Cup.
If this is how it is suppose to be, then I will change my review. It seems I should be able to drop the K-Cup, close the chamber (1 time), press brew, and be done.

We are so happy with our new coffee maker. The milk frother works great, though the angle gets some getting used to. We found some reusable pods for the espresso and single cup makers that also work well.

We always had a cuisinart coffee maker for as long as I can remember. Although the one we were using was still good (they are built to last!) , we were looking for an upgrade. This machine is great! The regular brewed coffee taste better and is piping hot. The K- cup function is wonderful. But my favorite part is the espresso feature. We have become creative making our afternoon espresso drinks- from plain americanos (yes, the hot water is hot!) to cappuccinos and lattes. It really is my favorite thing ever! And it’s one machine in my counter, taking up much less space.

Coffee carafe side worked fine but the expresso side would not function. Lid to the unit would not open when the brew cycle was completed. No expresso was brewed, just a lot of noise. Very disappointing.

So far, I love it......haven't tried the steam yet, just finally got some Nespresso pods. My only wish is that there was more clearance to open the top while under cabinets. I have to pull it out to put pods in or pour water and coffee in. But so far, it's working great!
