I was looking to purchase a new coffee maker and came across this model from. Cuisinart. I absolutely love everything about it. I will definitely look to Cuisinart for future purchases for my kitchen.

It makes good pot of coffee and allows us to enjoy our local fresh roasted coffee beans BUT, cleaning up everytime is a downer. The steam from the pot makes mud in the grinder. Also has an annoying beap when you remove the grinder lid.

This machine is very smart, it will remind me that I need to add water and it will remind me that I need to clean the coffee grounds. After using it for 15 years, I feel that it is a little helper in my life.

Automatic grinder doesn’t distribute ground coffee evenly in the filter. Filter lid doesn’t fit well with the filter.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
