This is my 3rd or 4th Cuisinart coffeemaker. I like this particular model a lot; for one thing you can see the water level on the outside as you are filling it. It looks stylish in our kitchen. And best of all, it makes great coffee!

We really love this coffee maker but it does seem a little louder than our previous one and the lid on the coffee pot is finicky and tends to leak if not held in place and swatted properly

Not what it should be. Many shortfalls for cost

We weren’t given a choice as to the color of the item. The stainless Steele is fine, but the cream color plastic just looks dirty immediately after first use. The button to release/open the filter drawer is recessed and the plastic doesn’t fit properly on the outside frame of the product so it looks cheap. Often, all the ground beans don’t make their way to the filter, thus creating a much weaker brew.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
