I bought this particular model because it has a 1-4 cup option and I have given up trying to find a grind and brew under 6 cups. I have had Cuisinart grind and brew coffee makers for years. They have always been dependable and the only reason I’ve ever replaced them has been to upgrade. Never had one stop working! I even had your 16 oz grind and brew that was only on the market for a short time. I gave it away, the design just didn’t work for me. Why cant you make a limited edition 4-5 cup model, since there doesn’t seem to be a market for a smaller version of the 10 or 12 cup grind and brew? Until then, I’ll be using my gigantic 12 cup model for my 4 cups every morning.

Brews coffee fine, but the grinder design could be better. Grinder is not big enough to hold enough beans to brew 12 cups of coffee at one time. After grinding, it leaves a good amount of finely ground beans stuck on the corners of the grinder housing.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
