I find when I use the grinder not all the beans make it to the filter and the coffee is weak.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great coffee maker for the price. I love the option of being able to use whole bean or ground coffee. The initial setup was very easy, and now I wake up to freshly ground and brewed coffee every morning.

This my second grind and brew Cuisinart coffee maker. I had the first one for over 10 years. It performed excellent. Having the first cup of coffee from freshly found beans is a great way to start the day. The unit is easy to clean and simple to operate. I set mine up before going to bed and I can either set it to start at whatever time I’d like using the easy program mode or hit the start button when I get up. If you have a coffee that is all ready ground you can turn off the grinder with the touch of a button. All in all I’m very happy with my purchase. Not my first Cuisinart purchase and it won’t be my last.

Grinder binds up and does not send most of the ground coffee into the drip filter then makes weak coffee. After only a few uses the grinder cup bound in place and can ‘t be cleaned. The carafe drips in use. Notified company, they want us to be without a machine for about 10 days for a replacement.
