This machine was just not for me. The coffee brewed tasted just fine; however, it was difficult to clean, too many parts to wash, and the grinder was extremely loud (made me jump when I heard it the first time). It was difficult to understand the pause button (never did understand it). The machine is too large and dominating for my tastes.

I love this grind and brew because of the thermos type carafe. It's easy to take out to the patio and keeps the coffee hot. It's my 3rd one purchased. The last grinder only lasted 2yrs then the pot quit working shortly thereafter. My first one lasted over 5yrs.

I have used Cuisinart coffee makers for several years and this one is amazing. I love the fresh grind feature that allows you to grind fresh beans directly into your brew basket for the best cup of coffee ever! If you don’t want to grind your own beans, you can turn off this feature and use ground coffee. So far I love it as I have other Cuisinart products.
