Great coffeemaker. This is my third one. They changed the carafe design so it is very difficult to pour a cup of coffee without spilling. I hate this.

I love this coffee maker. I barely drank coffee until a few months ago. So I decided to buy one. My GF who owns Breville was shocked and amazed that mine had a grinder at the price. Then I told her about the programming options.

The grinding portion of this machine should have been better isolated. Because of the natual moisture from the brewing process, cleaning in the grinder is required after every brew. I've used it twice but now grind in my old grinder and manually fill the basket. Other than that, I like the machine.

The problem I have is with the lid on the coffee pot. Some days I get more water on the floor than in the pot. Can’t keep lid tight.

The previous Cuisinart automatic grind and brew 12-cup coffeemaker (which I think has been discontinued and superseded by this model) seems to have been sturdier and easier to clean. Very flimsy used coffee grinds and it’s connected cover - scared it’s going to break easily. Your previous model was designed much better. Also, the coffee pot fits too snugly - again, your previous model was designed much better. I still love your products, but the above was a little disappointing.

Have had Cuisinart coffee makers for many years. Happy with this one except that the carafe leaks when pouring either water or coffee. I believe it is due to the spacing of the two lid tabs on either side of the spout. Too much gap.
I would recommend this to a friend!
