Proper cleaning after each brew takes too long

It's a great coffee maker with the exception of the cleaning. Definitely takes a lot of time to properly clean all the parts after each brew. Can't use if you're rushing to work in the mornings.

Works as advertised. I like the freshly ground coffee this makes. The hopper only holds a maximum of one full pot but that’s no big deal. I’ve had other models that hold several full pots worth. I also use a stainless steel insulated carafe that I had with a previous cuisinart coffee maker and highly recommend vs. the glass carafe So you can keep the coffee warm without cooking it continuously such that it becomes very bitter.

Looks good on my counter without taking too much space. I love that water can be added from the front without having to move it to reach the side.
Changing from a k-cup brewer to this took some adjusting but I’m glad I did. There are multiple steps involved with the brewing and cleaning process that take a bit of practice.
I prefer cone filters and found them to work well by wetting the filter first. There is enough filter to have a slight overlap all around which prevents it from slipping and makes cleaning simple.
Since I use it multiple times per day, I rinse the pot and other parts with warm water after each use. After the last pot of the day I clean everything thoroughly with soap and water.
The only reason for 4 stars is the noise level of the grinder.

This is obviously a great looking product, with a variety of nice functions. I love the option of using ground beans, or having a bean grinder within the product. I dislike that the shut off option (to get a cup of coffee, while brewing) isn't very good. Lots of leakage and sizzling plate action. The "pouring" ease of the carafe is also less than optimal. Makes a great cup of coffee and for me that outweighs the negatives.
