This is an attractive machine that fits well on my coffee bar at home. I love the bean grinder as well as the option to brew pre ground coffee. My only complaint is sometimes coffee from the fresh beans gets stuck in the hopper and I wind up with brown water in the pot. It could be the moisture content from the flavored coffee I use? The bean grinder does need to be thoroughly cleaned after each use, which I do. Regardless, this is a machine worth having and I'm happy with it.

My coffee maker will not make coffee less than a full pot. I will be contacting Prime and you. It is stated to make 4-12 cups. You can request less than 12 but grinds a full 12 cups of coffee.

I don't like the lid to the pot , it should be hinged. Moisture ends up in the grinder cap, and then i have to open it up until it dries.

Makes nice coffee. It keeps it hot! It is a little cumbersome to clean - there are many parts and pieces, but in the long run it does make great coffee.

We've only used it for ground coffee so far as it's been quite the feat trying to find whole beans. It's a bit more difficult to clean everthing with the basket having little nooks and crannies. Also make sure you put the filter handle facing out, otherwise all the grounds are all over the place. I think it states that in the manual as well, As far as coffee flavor, I am not sure if it is me, the maker or the coffee we are purchasing but haven't found one that I am head over heels. Everyone we buy seems to be bitter or sour and not rich and smooth, Open to suggestions for options-in a fair/moderate price range.

We purchased this machine due to experience with a friend auto grind coffeemaker. This is an upgraded version and we love how it works. The permanent filter allows for almost full 12 cup brewing and the coffee temp is much hotter. Love that fact. Will recommend to others.

I bought this model because it was all BBBeyond had in the Cuisinart line- supply chain, etc. Don't normally grind anymore. Grind works ok but it takes practice to get the right amount beans for the specified cup amount- 1 scoop of beans per cup is too weak. If you make 12 cups the grounds overflow into the pot-- it's large also- takes alot of counter space. Would not buy again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is a replacement for a previous Cuisinart coffeemaker that burned out a board, that is no longer available, and you no longer make that machine. The thermal carafe from that coffee maker fits and works fine, so I am using that in place of the glass one and using less water.
Best of both worlds.
