If you don’t dry the coffee beans container (even if you just used grounded coffee) the coffee will not brew correctly. There should be a barrier so that moisture does not go into the bean reservoir etc. Also when you add water to brew it’s too easy for drops to fall into that area also. It almost like this machine can’t deal with water or moisture or condensation. I don’t recommend unless you dry the machine parts after each use. Including parts you didn’t even use.

It is very, very much work cleaning all 5 detachable parts of the machine every single day with many small inside corners to clean. You need hot water, soap, a small brush and then paper towels to thoroughly clean and dry every part, besides the work of wiping off the water marks on the reservoir and exterior. I will never buy another one.

Overall we’re pleased with it and love having the fresh grind, but the carafe leaks more than half the time we pour. Not sure if it’s just a faulty one but I’d expect a fully functional product at this price
