Is great. The only thing that is getting annoying is the cleaning of the coffee grounds. The opening isn’t as big and so it gets everywhere. Thinking of getting another style, even tho I’ve had this one for a month now.

I love the option to brew coffee with whole beans or pre-ground! For years I had the grind and brew model with a hopper, which held a lot more whole beans than this one, however, both make exception coffee!

I appreciate the redesign of the coffee bean grinder in this model. Although it doesn't hold as many beans as the previous model, it is much easier to clean and much less likely to jam. The coffee consistently turns out hot and fresh. In a word, it's a great coffee maker.

The grinder is a mess. If not cleaned after each use it builds up crud quickly. It also fills with condensation on any use of maker creating a bigger mess. The need to disable the grinder each use if using ground coffee is backwards. I should have to enable the grinder when I want to use it. Since it’s not a burr grinder most coffee divas won’t use it anyway.
On the plus side you can use tap water if using charcoal filters. It brews quickly.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
