I like this coffee maker only has two things I don't like which are : if you put it on your counter you can not open the lid to put water in it. this could have been avoided by putting the hinge on the side of the machine. Secondly the grinder lid is filled with moisture after each brew.

New version of Grind and Brew is not better

I have this same machine from more than 25 years ago, and the old one is much better than the new one. The quality is better, and it's easier to use. The only reason I bought the new one was because the old one developed a hole in the grinder. I'm tempted to just use the new grinder in the old machine.

Haven't use the grind function yet, finishing ground coffee. All other options, program start, keep warm setting, work great. This is our third Grind and Brew. Previous ones have lasted several years each, making coffee every day and keeping coffee hot for many hours, mostly with grinding. As they age they take longer to make a pot, even after vinegar cleaning and the last one had a grinder motor bearing freeze after three years and later began leaking a little water during brew (with pre-ground coffee). I'd say that's really good service.

It is the fourth and best Cuisinart grind and brew I have acquired. It's clock also serves as a night light. All the removable components are light and easy to clean. All the removable features fit in the dishwasher perfectly. The result is the tastiest cup of fresh brew you can get with a home coffee maker!

Have had grind and brews for many years but last one started leaking. This one a bit larger and makes filling easier. Have no problems so far. Use paper filters as metal one does leave some ground beans in cup.

This unit has a smallish bean holder / grinder. So you are somewhat limited as to be able to make strong coffee when making more than 8 cups
