One experience of the grinder clogging up but worked fine after cleaning thoroughly and ensuring the basket was properly installed.
The carafe cover fits tightly but doesn't "flip" up to allow easy pouring of water in machine.

Works very well making small batches of coffee (i.e. under 4 cups) with a nice feature. Easy to clean and can easily be set in advance to go on, grind and brew coffee, and stay hot for a two-hour period after brewing.

It’s a pretty good coffeemaker. I like options for grinding coffee beans and also jist perking coffee if I desire. I am thinking about purchasing another one. I will try this one out for a few more months. I had one in the past for a wedding gift that lasted well over ten years. So this is why I considered purchasing another one.
