I like to grind my own coffee and had a Cuisinart Grind & brew and loved it so much that I bought this one for my son for his birthday. He loves the programmable feature and the Hot coffee!!
I actually switched over to other coffee makers since my last Cuisinart and still grind my coffee so I decided to buy myself one too!!

replaced a coffee maker that ground and brewed. Everything is ok with the Cuisinart but it appears the same amount of coffee beans for 6 cups to 10 cups and the sound is awful. Cleaning out the machine after brew is too much. At this time this is my only option for ground and brew and cost.

This coffee maker is perfect. Easy to use, and makes amazing coffee. My only complaint is the noise the grinder makes and that it stays on too long after the beans are ground. .

We do both beans and ground coffee in our house. My husband gets up first and has beans and then I am later in the morning with ground. I was concerned about cleaning the grinder before getting to enjoy my coffee but that has proven to be an easy step. I do keep an old toothbrush handy to assist. So far this coffee maker is working well for us.
