Fresh Ground Coffee whenever you want.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Automatic Grind & Brew 12-Cup Coffeemaker will give you fresh ground coffee whenever you want. This is an all in one unit which can be a bonus or a inconvenience depending on how you look at it. It is great to have an all in one unit so you don't have to have more then one appliance to go the task, but the grinder does get moist during the brewing process that is a mess if there are grind left in it and it has to be washed between each use. The look of the Automatic Grind & Brew 12-Cup Coffeemaker is very modern and classy. It doesn't take up a huge amount of counter space and fit well under my cabinets. You have the convenience of setting it up the night before and having it grind and brew fresh when you wake in the morning. Best features of this are it is programable, pause, clock, grinder, removable drip tray for cleaning, and filtration. This has been easy to keep clean and has been working great. But that is to be expected with the Cuisinart brand.

Great for whole bean users

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you prefer to buy whole bean coffee and grind it yourself, this is a great option as it cuts out the need for a separate coffee grinder.
The box includes the coffee maker, glass carafe, filter basket, and the glass container pictured for storing your coffee in and keeping it fresh. There are five buttons as well as a clock so you can program your coffee maker to automatically start. There is an option for 1-4 cups or you can brew the entire 12 cup pot. The filter included is a metal like material so there's no need for paper filters. You can easily run it under water for cleaning or throw it in the dishwasher. Cuisinart also sells additional filters for replacement. There is also a clean feature which automatically lets you know when it's time to clean.
The brew pause feature is awesome because you can pause your current brew to get a cup of coffee without having to restart the brewing cycle. There is also a grind off feature so you can use pre-ground coffee if you'd like.
This is definitely a great option for those that like freshly ground coffee and makes it much more convenient and time saving!

I purchased this to replace a similar one that is about 10 years old. I like the fact that it has a separate recognition of making only 1-4 cups. In my previous machine, when I made only 2 cups, the machine would not necessarily warm the water enough. Small learning curve for the other differences between them.

You can’t get any better then the Cusinart Automatic Grind & Brew Coffee Maker. It has every possible feature that’s extremely user friendly; a water reservoir for its 12 cup carafe, can either grind fresh coffee beans or use already ground & I can use the timer to guarantee a fresh cup in the morning. Love the sleek design & the price point is great. Oh & it makes a great cup of coffee!
