The cleaning of the grinder every time is more work than my regular coffee grinder because it gets damp from the steam from the brewing process. But the coffee machine works great otherwise.

Eliminates the need for a stand alone grinder

We received this as a gift and it is our third Grind & Brew model. The prior two were higher end models with burr grinders and coffee bean reservoirs; one had a warming plate (like this one), the other a thermos carafe. This coffee maker does make a good cup of coffee but requires more setup. The grinder has to be cleaned after each use and beans have to be added. It does come with a gold mesh permanent filter eliminating the need for paper filters.
