Not a good buy, Broken on arrival where the button to open the coffee basket is, Grinder continues to grind without beans for over a minute, Leaks where the part that connects where coffee drips from to the coffee carafe which then leaks all over the counter, Gave it one star because the coffee does stay hot, Return to where I purchased from and will not be replacing this with another Cusinart.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The custom service is great , but I’m disappointed about the product. I bought this coffee machine because it’s from cuisinart. The noise is so loud when it is grinding the coffee beans. I’m embarrassed when I was making coffee for my friends. I wish I can return it for a better machine.

Horrible carafe - it spills easily

The carafe is AWFUL! You have to pour REALLY slowly or else the coffee drips down the front of the carafe. I've been going through 1-2 paper towels just to get a cup of coffee from this thing, because I don't have time for that. What a waste. I wish I could keep the hot plate off and use a thermal carafe, or at least that the spout was made so that it poured nicely.

We really wanted a coffee maker that grind the beans fresh every morning and make coffee via an automatic setting. We love waking up to the smell of freshly made coffee...
