This is our third grind and brew. Though some of the internal features, cleaning etc., are improved, the shape and volume of the coffee maker are much larger in my tiny kitchen. I prefer the older more streamlined shape but do have high marks for the maker overall.

Not the usual Cuisinart quality but okay for the price. The coffee basket and lid are attached. This makes it hard to empty a load of wet coffee grounds in the waste basket, it also makes it harder to wash. Still fresh ground coffee beans make the best coffee.

Too tall, height greater than previous generations

The height is taller than previous generations of the Grind and Brew (I have owned 3). This one is a problem as it does not fit countertop under overhead cabinets. I have taken it to 2 houses and encountered the same clearance issue.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Nice & great idea to grind coffee then go straight to making the coffee. There is no extra strong brew options which a first for me not to have on a top of the line appliance. However it gets really messy. Its a lot to clean and the shute that takes the coffee going to the filter cup is really small and the coffee goes everywhere. But its cute and I like it.
