This Cuisinart grind & brew is a replacement for my grind & brew Cuisinart that developed a leak. This one is definitely not as durable with a much smaller grinder. The grinder is extremely noisy that sends my dog running when I start it. I generally make 6 cups which fills the grinder to the top so I’m not sure how I’m going to make 12 cups since the grinder won’t hold any more beans. I’m sad because I loved my old coffee pot and this new one is cheaply made.

There appears no way to brew a 10-12 cup pot especially when you grind beans, very disappointing. Have not used ground coffee yet though expect similar limitations. Need to add beans every time want to brew it is not one where add a bunch of beans and brew as you like.

This is my third of the same series. Obviously I like the product and it gets a lot of use . This one may have been less expensive than the others. Nice . It does a fantastic job. Controls are easy to use. You need to pour slowly out of the carafe or it spills. Also, in this unit you have to restart it if you add water. In the old unit, it would except water and continue brewing after the first brew. Also, the new unit the grinds bucket does not separate from the lid which makes it a little harder to clean. But overall it has been a trusted part of our kitchen for probably 12 years or so.
