There were some areas which could have been improved. It looks like there should be a large area for beans but you only put in the beans for per use. Doesnt impact the use, but it is just something overlooked

Not as good as the original

I bought this to replace the original grind and brew from probably 10 or 15 years ago at least. This is nowhere close to the original. The copy is weak even on the highest strength the only way I can get a decent cup of coffee is to put less water in it and even then it’s not as good as the original. I wish there was a way to calibrate the strength other than the button that’s provided.

The coffee grinder has a small compartment that does not hold enough coffee beans to brew a full pot of coffee. The instructions indicate 14 scoops for the grinder but it cannot accommodate that quantity. If the grinder and coffee were not activated at the same time, one could refill and grind more but the pot immediately begins to brew upon grinding.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Don't like the carafe

You cannot pour a cup of coffee, without it spilling all over the place. Even if you try to go really slow it's just a bad design and when you fill the carafe with freshwater to pour in the machine, you have to pour it in as slow as molasses and it's really annoying or else the water spills all over the place.

Great coffee, great to hear the grinder kick in as it was set. BUT I have to clean the bean grinder every time, using my fingers to wipe out the residual beans. I may return.

Love the coffee maker. Have a chose to grind or just brew my coffee. I had one a few years, but, when Kuerig came out I bought one. The coffee is not as fresh as cuisnart maker.

I love this coffee maker. This is my second one. My only complaint about this one is the grinder needs to be washed even if I use pre-ground coffee. Condensation forms. Makes great coffee. Grinder works great. I wish it still had the bin to fill coffee vs. the grinder container. I could load it with coffee beans and it would grind the coffee based on my setting. Still love this one.
