I had a Cuisinart coffeemaker/hot water dispenser for many years, and after thousands of pots of coffee, the "on" button just stopped working. I was disappointed at first that I could not replace it, since it had been discontinued, so I had to set out to find a completely different one. I finally settled on the Cuisinart Grind and Brew model. I love it! Before I bought it, I read reviews, and the only negative comments were that it had to be cleaned every day and that it was loud during the grinding of the beans. Concerning the cleaning, yes I clean it every day, but it is not that big of a deal and my view is that cleaning an appliance after use is hygienic anyway so why would anyone not do that? It is not hard to clean at all, and the grinder is easily removed. Concerning the noise, it seems loud when you are standing right beside it, but it is not that loud otherwise. We use it very early in the morning, and it has not awakened our kids even with their bedroom doors open. I also like that you can choose not to use the grinder if you want to use pre-ground coffee. I am very happy with this coffeemaker and would heartily recommend it.

I have had a Cuisinart coffee maker for at least 5 years and it was given to me from a family member used. It was a no brainer to keep with the same model. I now have a spare carafe from the old maker. I really like this model.

I really like it except for one thing. The steam from the coffee maker goes up to the coffee grinder and turns any left-over coffee residue into a thick paste. I have to clean it daily, or the buildup becomes unmanageable.

The unit is engineered to offer the option to use ground coffee or you may grind beans . It is a moderate sized unit , has features to set timing of the brew plus with reading the manual easy to operate. It has turn off time set which is an important safely feature and you can grab a quick cup with the PAUSE BREW FEATURE so no need to wait for brew cycle to end . It’s an easy to clean attractive unit which also has a filter . It’s 2 steps up from my old coffee system .

Nice coffemaker. Grind and brew does improves the flavour of the coffe beans, how ever it is a little bit noise. In my case it complements my wake up routine as an alarm generated by the grinder.
