This is a replacement for an identical Cuisinart coffeemaker that brewed excellent coffee for over 20 years. The new one continues the excellent coffee making just as well as the old one did.

Works and make a very good cup of coffee. Grinder must be cleaned after every use and must be completely dried or grounds back up. I use both paper and wire filter to make cleanup easier.

This is my 3rd one of these. I think they’re great. The rinsing out the bean grinder every time was a bummer at first, but now (almost 12 years later) it’s just part of the routine. The coffee comes out perfect every time. We get compliments all the time. Tip: if you rinse the grinder right before you make the coffee, it will end up mucky, but I rinse and prep the coffee the night before and program it to make the coffee when I wake up, and no muck in the grinder. It still needs a rinse, but truly not a big deal. Also, don’t pour too fast or the carafe will make a mess.

This automatic grind and brew coffee maker is a game changer for coffee lovers! There is a significant and positive difference with freshly ground beans! I could never coordinate my grinding skills and the initiation of brewing as quickly as this coffee maker. I have a fresh pot of hot coffee in about five minutes. The parts of this maker are easily cleaned and ready for tomorrow.
