This grinder/coffee maker is the second one I’ve had. The first version of this model was fantastic but was used so much I had to replace it. The new version of the same model is terrific! It’s aesthetically even better looking than the older version. The new model also brews in half the time. So all of that being said it’s a wonderful machine and Cuisinart has outdone themselves again! I highly recommend this product and I’m so thankful my bride surprised with it for Father’s Day!

We are Cuisinart loyalists and have kept their coffeemakers at both of our homes for many years. Our daughter bought us this one after I’d talked about getting a bean grinder. Nice gift but the first time we used it I immediately unplugged it because I thought it was vibrating apart. Turns out that’s just the way it sounds. We stopped grinding and just started putting ground coffee in the filter, but we still have to assemble the disassemble and clean the grinder every time or it won’t work right.
The coffee is fine, we use the grinder when our daughter visits but we never make coffee until everyone is already awake. Close the windows or you’ll startle your neighbors. Yes, it’s that loud.

This was our 4th Cuisinart grind and brew coffee maker. Last one stopped heating the coffee so orderd new coffee maker, this one so loud my neighbors could hear it. Returned and reordered another. The one I received this time was even louder. Cuisinart's quality has declined excessively. Does not compare to the one I purchased in 2006 that was quiet and lasted for years. You might consider a coffee grinder and not a grind and brew.

Bought this coffee maker because my smaller one quit grinding. I had one of these before and was great. When I received this one it was so loud it sounded like a jet taking off. I called and they replaced it but this one is almost as loud. Sounds like a tornado siren going off. I going to keep it but looking for a better alternative without the loud noise.

This is my second automatic grind and brew coffee maker—had my first one for 12 years and finally had to buy a new one. Yes, it is loud when it starts to brew but I am getting use to the sound. So far, so good and coffee tastes great!

Replaced a VERY old Cuisinart with this one (dropped and cracked a part that is out of prod. No prob. Was many years old). Highly recommended, but only complaint, like prev one, way too noisy during grind phase.
