The hopper for the coffee beans is very small and not adequate for a full pot of water. Not only do you have to clean out the hopper every time, you also have to clean out the filter basket. Much better off just buying a regular coffee pot.

The design updates are NOT an improvement. The lid does not fit securely onto the carafe and so coffee drips on the counter when pouring. The lid of the basket used to be separate, and now it is hinged (attached), making it difficult to manage and clean. This is our 4th Grind and Brew in 20 years, but from an ease of use standpoint it has gotten worse, not better. Please UNDO these design "updates."

It’s a pretty ok machine, makes a decent cup of coffee. But the Carafe leaks when you pour liquid out, and it doesn’t hold enough beans to make 12 cups of coffee with any strength to it. I would like to see the cup hold more beans. It’s ok when I add the grounds myself and can control the amount added.

Loved my last Cuisinart so the only option for consideration was another. The grinder holds moisture so a substantial amount of coffee is wasted as it sticks in the grinder. Also, there is not enough room in the grinder to add enough beans for a whole 12-cup pot. Additionally, it’s messy and must be cleaned each and every time to function. This just adds to my ‘to do’ list.
