NOT happy with the coffee capacity of the grounds. Directions say don't exceed 16 measuring cups, but you couldn't get 5 in there without it overflowing. Very messy and no coffee flavor because of the small amount it will hold without overflowing. Pot capacity is too small also. Pod water capacity is too small also. I want a refund!

We purchased our Grind & Brew Plus to replace a 15 year-old Grind and Brew whose grinder parts were wearing out and becoming difficult to remove for daily cleaning. We figured if this one lasts as long, it will be worth it! We were pleased to find that our 10 cup thermal carafe from our 15 year-old G&B fit out new G&B+. We just had to adjust down the amount of water in the reservoir to 10 cups. My only complaint about the Plus is how loud the grinder is. Even louder than the previous model we owned. Those large panels on top and sides really resonate the sound. Maybe future designers can get input from sound engineers to muffle a little. Still, it makes a fine pot of coffee and we love the convenience of the cup-at-a-time K-cups. BTW, we always use water from a Zero Filter pitcher. Cuisinart should consider partnering with Zero Filters on a promotion.

This is definitely a step up from the single-cup machine we were using previously. I like this system a lot, but I would suggest a cpl of improvements: 1) a grinder that doesn’t get so much condensation. Whenever we use, we have to clean. We went ahead and bought a separate grinder to make things easier. 2) a “peek” window on the water for single cups. 3) a way to fill the entire water chamber and then select the amt of cups you are making. It makes great coffee and I esp like the auto on timer so my coffee is ready in the morning. 🙂 Happy with the purchase.

Bought this machine to replace an older grind & brew. Makes great coffee and has the convenience of single cup brewing. Major drawback is the time it takes to get machine ready to brew another pot. The old pot held up to 1/2 pounds of beans. This is single pot grind and bean grinder must be disassembled & cleaned after each use. A mechanism to close out steam getting into the grinder would be a cure for that.

So far so good. I wish there was a way to turn off the alarm after the coffee has been made and I also wish there were a backlight to the clock but other than that I really like it.

This should be a five-star review. There's almost nothing to dislike about this machine. Over the years, I've owned and really liked at least 5 different Cuisinart Grind and Brew coffeemakers, and this one is by far the best. It's easy to set up, easy to program, easier than any of the previous models to clean, and it makes a really good pot of coffee.
The attached pod coffee maker is icing on the cake.
In the morning before setting out on a busy day, we always make a pot of coffee and have a couple of cups while we read a book and just get ready for th day. We finish the last of the pot over breakfast.
As soon as the pot is empty, we clean everything up and get the coffeemaker ready for the next day
But here comes the great part. In the afternoon, when our energy begins to sag, we just break out two pods and have a single cup each without any fuss or waste - FANTASTIC !
But here is the problem. It is almost impossible to know how much water is in the pod reservoir. We have to pull the entire coffeemaker out to the edge of the sink so we can lift the reservoir lid and shine a flashlight in to see the water level. The few pennies Cuisinart saved by not putting a window in the housing cost them a star in my review and slightly tarnished what should have been a stellar product
