Very nice dual coffee maker. Love the choice of a Pod single serve or a Pot of coffee.

Wouldnt do this again. Small reservoir for the Kcups. No backlight on the led panel which would help in the low light hours. Ive had two issues with the tops of kcups fully puncturing with coffee grinds and water pouring all over my countertop. This was not a cheap coffee maker, it should perform as advertised. Not a typical Cuisinart.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Grinder

I purchased this coffee pot in May of 2025. This is our 3rd purchase. We have been happy with this style for years. The grinder on this model quit working. Usually the grinder serves as an alarm clock. This morning it didn't grind.

Do not waste your money

For years I had said that my perfect coffee maker would have a built in grinder and do full pots as well as single cups. When this one came out, my kids all chipped in and got it for me as a mother's day present. That one lasted less than two years. The water reservoir started to leak. I had noticed that the pod side often made a mess, the bold button didn't seem to do much and the grinder doesn't really result in a good cup of coffee. It also doesn't like the beans I use and half the grounds are left in the grinder. I bought another one, assuming that it was just a bad machine. It was never much better but I kept it because I paid a lot for it. Last week, the reservoir let go and I had a full pot worth of water all over my counter. I love Cuisinart and will pay more to buy it because I know it is quality. This coffee maker though, is the most disappointing thing I've ever owned. Naturally, it's just over the three year mark so I'm on my own.

This is the first time we have ever used whole beans for our morning coffee. What a difference! The freshness and richness of the fresh ground beans is quite noticeable. The fact that we can set the machine to grind and brew is a game changer. The grinder sound at 6:30 every morning puts a smile on my face.
