I’ve always had cuisinart coffee pots and o find them to be the best but this one is super loud, the grinder always gets clogged, makes too weak coffee and is too loud to use on auto brew. There’s no way to change the temperature like other coffee pots I’ve had and the lights are so bright I had to put duct tape over them.
Great on Appearance and Features. Low on Quality. This is my second unit. The first developed a leak in less than a year. The “sneak a cup” feature is of poor quality. They replaced it…the new one appears to be leaking and the pod feature does not work.
Love the coffee & also that it has the pod attachment. I find the pod attachment very useful. We have coffee every morning and evening. I use the pods during the day for a quick cup. The only thing that did bother me , was it smelled like plastic when I opened up the coffee maker. After a few run through it got better . Overall I love my new coffee maker.
I like the option of full pot and single brew in one machine. I bought it as it grinds the beans and the only model I could find in stock at the store. After a couple months, the pot is not fully brewing and we need to restart it to get it to finish. It is also no longer keeping the coffee hot. I am pursuing a return
I had previously purchased the Cuisinart burr grind and brew coffee maker, and I loved it. You fill the hopper with beans, and you can quickly and easily make a perfect cup of coffee each morning. With the grind and brew plus, you have to clean the grinding mechanism each day, the light on the clock is very dim, so it’s practically useless, and it takes a lot more effort just to make a cup of coffee with freshly ground beans. For around the same price you can get a superior product with a Cuisinart burr grind and brew coffee maker, the only difference is you don’t have the additional attachment to use K cups, but you can easily make freshly ground coffee for one, that more than makes up for the difference.
Thiis unit is an attractive coffee brewer with number of nice features. The reason we purchased was to have a multi-function unit rather than cluttering our kitchen with numerous coffee making devices. First of all, the grind feature works well and using this function makes a genuine great cup of coffee. On the other hand, using pre-ground coffee the flavor is only so-so and really not that good. Additionally, the k-cup pod function makes a very week cup of coffee. I've used other k-cup machines and experienced a very good cup of coffee with those units. I've not contacted Cuisinart about this as of yet, wanting to experiment a little more to see if anything can be done to improve the coffee taste and strength. Not ready to recommend to a friend yet, value is questionable.
