I so want to give this 5 stars because it is ‘almost’ perfect. But three things keep me from doing it. First, why oh why can’t they put a water level indicator on the K-cup side? That’s really more where you need it than on the carafe side. Second, the ‘Bold’ setting won’t work if you are using the K-cup side; only with a carafe. Third, the unit allows you to take out the top of the cup holder on the K-cup side if you are using an extra tall coffee cup like a Yeti. But you have to tip the cup in and out of the hole. OK for going in, but if you fill the cup and then tip it to take it out you will likely spill hot coffee on your hands as I have done. It hurts. Other than that I love, love, love this. Especially the grinder.

As a combined drip and single serve coffee machine there is no issues. The grinder however does not completely ground all the beans. I found whole beans remained in the grinder cup.

This coffeemaker does it all! It grinds and brews a fresh pot of coffee or makes a quick mug in my choice of 3 sizes using a k-cup. I love that it is an all-in-one!!

I was hesitant to buy this coffee machine because The reviews I read weren’t good, but bought it anyway and LOVE it! Love the grind and brew and having a single pod use is great!! I highly recommend it!!

Purchased two months ago. The pod brewer doesn’t work and we will need to buy an additional pod brewer. The main grinder/brewer is awesome, we love it, so we’ll keep it.

I previously owned a grind and brew that had seen better days so I purchased the new model that included the single cup brew option. The single cup brew works fine and isa convenient option. I am curious why Cuisinart decided to change from the previous design for the grind and brew. First, the receptacle for the whole beans isn’t large enough to brew a whole pot. Second, it appears there isn’t a “door” that closes when the beans a dropped into the grinder so ground beans are blown back into and sticks to the top or cover every time! Third, once the water is heated and brewing begins condensation ends up in the bean receptacle and top. Lastly, they replaced the carafe metal pot with a glass pot and there’s a heating element underneath which supposedly is there keep the brewed coffee hot but obviously not as fresh as would be the case in the old carafe pot. I kept the old carafe pot and just poor the fresh brewed into it.
