I'm Neutral. We had another Cuisinart Grind & Brew coffeemaker that lasted 10-12 years and developed a leak. Replaced with model which also has single serve. Grinder is much much LOUDER than old model. Single serve reservoir is non existent for visibility of water level. Single serve malfunctioned today so ordered replacement unit to give this another shot. Jury is out on this model but fingers crossed for better experience with the second one. I really wanted to love it but it is pricey and does have some things that could be better from a design standpoint.

This machine is so versatile. I love the option to use pre-ground coffee or grind whole beans. Also the K-cup simplifies everything into one machine. The only 2 small negatives are that when you grind whole beans, you really can only make about 8 cups of coffee (at least that's what we've discovered based on the fact that we like are coffee stronger). I use 8 mounded scoops of beans - which is about all the grinder can hold. But for just the two of us, that's not a problem really. The other really small negative is that you must take out the grinder part even if you use pre-ground coffee because it gets wet inside the grinder as the coffee is brewing. Leaving the water trapped in there is just an invitation for mold growth. But, these are very small negatives that are what they are. Otherwise the machine is GREAT! And it makes good HOT coffee!!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Be aware: my machine on the k cup side serves approximately 3 ounces more than you choose. If you choose 8 ounces, you’ll get 10! 10 you get 12, 12, almost 15

Certain K pods split in half instead of just piercing the center and it causes the grounds to go everywhere and will sometimes flood the single cup area.
