I like this coffee maker in theory but it is ridiculous....the single cup side spills coffee everywhere no matter what type of pod I use. And the coffee grinds get caked in the grinder and don't fully dump into the basket.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Please remember to add more than enough water to the single serving pod side of the coffee maker. If you don’t it won’t work.

Excellent coffee maker. Brews carafe perfectly. Brews K-Cups well when inserted firmly in holder. Best practice, push K-Cup down with two fingers prior to pulling top down. This small step will insure you do not make a mess when brewing K-Cups.

Product leaked from bottom. Returned and picked about another machine and had same issue. Discussed issue with contact number provided with packaging. Rep indicated that the machine was defective. I returned second machine and purchased a competitors coffee maker.

This is not a great product…the grinder doesn’t fit 12 cups of beans so they should really market is as a 10-cup machine. It needs to be cleaned very thoroughly (more so than other similar models we’ve had from Cuisinart) after every single cycle because the grinds left in the grinder get wet and packed in.
