2 design errors but otherwise makes a good coffee

This is my 3rd Grind & Brew and my first with a Pod option. This model works well but has two faults.
1. The lid is attached to the filter basket making it difficult to clean. It should have stayed as 2 pieces.
2. When removing the filter and grinder to clean, the machine turns off so it is no longer keeping the coffee in the pot warm.

I was excited to get this combination grind, brew and single serve coffee maker. It is what I expected except I’ve had trouble with the single serve part. It is destroying the container and I’m getting coffee grounds all over including in the coffee. Not sure what I’m doing wrong. Another thing is that the light blinks continuously until the coffee maker is ready to go and all components are in place. It is annoying to have that light blinking all the time

Love this unit because it is a space saver that grinds beans and also uses K-cups. What needs improvement is the latching mechanism to the lid on top. Fails after about a year. Needs to be held down or grinder will not work. (We are on our third machine.) Grinder needs to be larger. Will not hold enough beans for a 12 cup brew that is strong enough.

My 4 stars has nothing to do with brewing--on both the carafe side and the pod side this coffee center brews great coffee. My only real negative is that there is no way on the pod side to know how much water is in the reservoir (unlike the carafe side where you can see the fill level from the outside of the brewer.) So you need to resort to "guessing" until the brewer tells you to "fill up".

This was actually a replacement unit because on the previous one, the grinder stopped working. Customer Service was great, tried sending me new parts to see if the grinder would work, but in the end, they just sent me a new one which works great! I really appreciate the long warranty on these machines and the way they step up and resolve issues if there are any.

Love the versatility. Can brew a whole pot, grind whole beans or brew an individual from a pod! We have some trouble with leakage but culinary replaced without much headache
