Cuisinart toaster oven is ok for basic toasting and baking. Size is smaller than expected. Not as wide as I thought. Front door slams shut loudly on its own. For the price, it should be more deluxe

Very unhappy. The alarm when finished is unusually loud and when you open and shut the door it's noisy metal on metal. I previously had a Black and Decker and I thought Cuisinart woyld be an upgrade but it is not. I also purchased in November a single serve coffee maker and have also been disappointed. The hottest setting is not hot enough and that's the main reason I choose this machine and it's difficult to pull down the lever which makes alot of noise as does the pump. I have had Keurig's in the past and wanted a change but am not happy.

I normally use for toast. Works well with 3 issues: the beeping is loud & annoying, the metal rack is bent on the 1 side and if using the top rack for baking it is difficult to see without ooening door.
