This is a replacement for my first toaster oven broiler that lasted just over a year and would no longer heat up. I was very pleased with the customer service for replacement at their cost, but not pleased that my original oven lasted such a short time. I've had the new one for about a month with no issues, but time will tell!

This is a good, reliable toaster. The reasons I give it 3 stars are due to the alarming sound it makes when the toast cycle finishes. It is the equivalent to a smoke detector going off. No joke. The other reason is that it is smaller on the inside than my last one.

I've been using this toaster oven for about a month now. I use it primarily as a toaster, though we've used it a couple of times for cooking/warming things. Overall, it's great. I especially like that the toaster tray comes forward a bit when you open the door. Multiple settings, including a setting for bagels, and a rotating dial for the darkness of the toast so that you aren't stuck with just "light, medium, dark" are really useful. The only issue I've found so far is that, on the oven settings, there is no automatic shut off or timer function. One member of my family has forgotten to shut off the oven more than once, but that's more on him than on the toaster. It's just something to be aware of and attentive to.

I recently sold my last house and downsized to a small apartment with very little counter space. I gave up an excellent full-size microwave in favor of the Cuisinart toaster oven. It is perfect for my single serve meals fresh made or packaged. I especially like that nachos, leftover pizza, etc are crispy. High temp pan liners make cleanup easier. I do have to dial temp down a bit at higher settings. I also like the simple knobs. After summer, will use regular stove again but that just means more handy size leftovers for the Cuisinart.

I choose this because of its design which is classic stainless - I prefer control knobs (not an electric touchpad as they can malfunction easily). The option to put the rack and pan at different levels is helpful, and I love the bagel toasting option to provide different levels toasting to the top and bottom of your food.
