This Cuisinart is my 3rd attempt to purchase a good, old-fashioned toaster oven. This unit is sturdy and offers the basic features of a toaster oven ( without an air fryer!), but come to find out there is no timer to indicate when something should be removed. To me, this is a huge flaw and a safety issue that could lead to fires and lots of burnt meals. I have to set my oven timer when I use this device or suffer the consequences!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I am thrilled with my new Cuisinart Toaster Oven. I was put off by some things I had read in reviews, but so glad I decided to buy one despite what I read. For example, the dials are very visible and easy to read, contrary to many reviews.
I love that there are 4 heating elements. It heats up very quickly and efficiently. Toasts evenly.
It's easy to clean. The buzzer is loud, which is a plus for me.
Although, this oven is compact, it is very spacious, which allows me to roast and bake more.

I love the toaster oven broiler except the outside gets very hot. I wasn't expecting it to be as hot as it is. Make sure you don't touch the sides or the top during use ir immediately after.
