I like the Cuisinart toaster oven but it's difficult to read the text of the controls because they are printed on the base of the dials, not on the face of the toaster. It toasts very aggressively compared to my old Black and Decker toaster oven so I have to adjust this oven to a much lighter setting. I bought this oven to replace my old oven because it has a pull-out crumb tray vs. a hinged door tray so clean up is 100% easier. I also like that the tray pulls out slightly when you open the door to facilitate removal of your food. It costs more than I wanted to pay but it does a lot more than I need which is to toast.

I wanted this (a 6 slice) toaster oven to replace a Black and Decker 4 slice toaster oven I had for probably 20 years. Basically I wanted a small counter top oven and toaster. It took me a while to get used to it but I really like it and would buy it again. It makes great cornbread in my small cast iron pan—cooks evenly—and the toaster works well too—maybe a little hot unless you want it “well” browned. Haven’t tried biscuits yet but I’m expecting them to turn out well too. The temp calibration seems right on. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because it’s hard for me to figure out how close or far away from the unit the item I’m reheating needs to be. Over all it’s a nice little toaster oven and good value for the money.

This is my second Cuisinart toaster oven. I love it, it makes my life so much easier. My interaction with customer support and the warranty dept was also super easy and I am so appreciative.
