This is my second On Demand (my first one lasted 12 years). I wouldn't even entertain the thought of purchasing another brand because this product offers everything one would want in a coffeemaker. The addition of a light underneath the cup area is sweet ... helps to see how much coffee is going into the cup. The detachable clear water reservoir is a new feature (easier to add water without getting water all over the unit).
I would recommend this to a friend!

We had a Hamilton Beech coffeemaker and it broke after only a few months. This unit seems to be of much better quality. The dispensing mechanism is far superior. We’ve had every kind of coffeemaker in the past and this type with the reservoir that holds several cups of brewed coffee is the best for us as I am an early riser while my wife sleeps later. Having hot coffee throughout the morning is perfect! Did I say “hot”?!, the coffee is hot from the first cup to the last. All in all, we are very pleased with our Cuisinart coffeemaker.

I liked my first one so much when I bought it about ten years ago that I bought another when the first one was getting old. What I like best is there is no caraffe that sits on a hot plate and burns the coffee and can break and then have to be replaced.

Love that the unit doesn't take up too much counter space, and also loving that its carafe free! Brewing is quick & easy. Not sure the gauge is accurate that tells how much coffee is left in the reservoir, but not a big deal. Cleaning is easy.

After many years using single cup brewing, we decided to go back to more conventional brew after seeing/experiencing this machine while visiting friends. Coffee has fuller flavor, served at much warmer preferred temp that keeps it from going cold soon after initial pour. Love the lighted pour feature. It is definitely cleaner - coffee doesn’t splash like with single serve. The programmability and user options make it all-around winner! Rave reviews!

Great Coffee Maker, this is my go to coffee maker. I have purchased about 3 of them so far. They las about 3-4 years and then start to leak at the bottom, but nothing lasts forever. I wouldn't buy another brand or maker.
